“One of the ways that the brain consolidates its information is that when things repeat, it strengthens the connections between neurons.”
In this Part II of my interview with Jack Feldman, Ph.D. and distinguished professor of neurobiology at UCLA, we dive deeper into Jack’s research on the brain <> breath relationship. Jack specifically highlights new research on the relationship between breath and our emotions.
We also discuss some of the challenges of publishing academic research, and Jack shoots down any concerns I have that these challenges could impact scientific opinion on something like the COVID-19 vaccine.
Finally, I share some ideas on the breath that I learned through my years of yoga training, and Jack identifies whether these ideas are/are not in alignment with his own research + other published scientific research.
Thanks for coming on the show Jack!
