“We have this inability, unfortunately, as a human race of drawing a line between fixing people and upgrading people”
In this episode, I had the privilege of interviewing Eric Pilon-Bignell, best-selling author of Surfing Rogue Waves: How to Paddle Out Into the 21st Century. In this book, Eric, a Ph.D in Global Leadership and an MBA in Information Systems, merges his knowledge with his surfing experience to build a framework for us to deal with the coming Fourth Industrial Revolution. As the waves of material science, nanotechnology, biotechnology, blockchain, AI, and dozens of other industries collide with one another, rogue waves will emerge and obliterate life as we know it.
In this conversation, Eric and I discuss these changes in more detail and how we might prepare to deal with both the expected and the unexpected impact on our daily lives with skill and joy.
